Korean Beauty Products For Beginners

Are you curious about K-Beauty Products? Korean skincare is renowned for its innovative products and multi-step routines. I have to admit, I didn’t know where to start and what to buy—there are so many options out there! Once I found what products I love to use and my routine, my skin immediately looked different! Here are some of my favorite products that I highly recommend, especially if you are just exploring and beginning your K-Beauty journey.

What is your skincare routine?

We all have different types of skin. The best thing to do is to determine what type of skin you have and then create a skincare routine around that. I have fairly dry skin. I like to use a sleeping mask to help lock in moisture.

My skin care routine:

• Oil Cleanser
• Water-Based Cleanser
• Exfoliator (2-3 times a week)
• Moisturizer

Oil Cleanser

The first step that I take when completing my skincare routine is cleansing my skin and getting rid of all of the impurities and build up from the day. I was always a make-up wipes and facial cleanser gal! When I incorporated using cleansing oil my skin became so buttery and smooth. I don’t gate keep my products, and I love sharing everything with all of you. You have to try using a cleansing oil to remove your makeup and build up from your skin. It is a game-changer! Water-Based Cleanser

Washing your face with cleansing oil can leave you feeling a bit greasy. I do not like that feeling at all! I like to use a water-based facial cleanser to get my skin feeling less oily. I use a bit of The Face Shop – Rice Water Bright Cleansing product and it leaves my skin feeling so refreshed and clean.  Rice Water is also enriched with vitamins A, B, and E, minerals, and ceramide to brighten and nourish dry skin. My face is honestly glowing after I clean my skin with this product.

Exfoliator
